On beautiful Tuesday, 7th of July, wedding photographer Liam and videographer Manny witnessed the union of Lisa and Rick. The couple opted for a destination wedding in The Bahamas with a beachside ceremony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Both Liam and Manny were excited with the location. “When Rick first contacted me and asked if we do weddings in The Bahamas, my reply was a loud YES”, says Liam. For wedding videographer Manny, Lisa and Rick’s destination wedding was the first overseas event he filmed.
“I personally had a great time at the wedding and during the entire trip”, says Manny, adding that “the island of Bimini provided breath-taking scenaries to capture”. Wedding photographer Liam was particularly seduced by the clarity of the water. “It literally looks like a swimming pool, very inviting”.
“As wedding photographers in Miami, we are often asked to photograph a destination wedding. On the mainland, we photograph weddings from Key West, up through Miami, Ft Lauderdale, Palm Beach and even Jupiter. We’ll travel to Cuba, The Bahamas, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica and any other beautiful island to photograph a destination wedding”, says Liam.
Lisa and Rick chose Resorts World Bimini to host their destination wedding festivities. According to Manny, “the rental house in which Lisa was getting ready, was walking distance from the ceremony location on the beach. Once the ceremony ended, the cocktail hour was withing 100 ft of a very large deck, which was open to the ocean breeze”.
The Bimini Island prides itself with white sand beaches contrasted by the tranquil sapphire water of the Atlantic Ocean. Add a blaze of sunset colors to the combination, and you’ll get an unforgettable scene. The couple exchanged their vows under the warm colors of the sunset, promising to share the nights that follow as husband and wife.
