On a beautiful Friday, 28th of August, wedding photographer Diana Sarmiento witnessed the union of Samuel and Boitumelo. The couple opted for a Florida destination wedding at Bill Baggs State Park, Key Biscayne.
Bill Baggs State Park offered incredible views to capture. A 95 foot tall white lighthouse stands proud in a background composed of white sand beaches, diverse vegetation and turquoise waters. Wedding photographer Diana was particularly attracted to the Cape Florida Lighthouse. “Being the oldest standing structure in Miami-Dade County, the lighthouse is a landmark worth capturing”.
For their Florida destination wedding, the bride and groom opted for a less formal attire, perfect for a beach celebration. Boitumelo chose an elegant dress that complimented her body shape, and accessorized it with a delicate flower crown. Samuel wore a simple outfit composed of a white shirt and a pair of khaki pants.
Boitumelo couldn’t have picked a more suited flower to fashion her bridal bouquet. The superb dahlia cactus flowers are a symbol of endurance. Their star-like shape assures they will stand up to rough weather conditions, being less prone to be weight down by heavy rain, or blown about by strong wind. The dahlias bright yellow color symbolizes happiness, enthusiasm, optimism and hope.
“I really enjoyed shooting Boitumelo and Samuel’s Florida destination wedding. Everything went great, and I had a lot of fun”, says wedding photographer Diana. “The beautiful couple was very pleasurable to work with”, she added.
Diana was impressed with how strongly connected they seemed to be. “Boitumelo and Samuel complement each other perfectly. The strong love they share was very much evident throughout the day.”
