Watch this 2 minute video explaining why wedding photographers -that’s us! 🙂 – LOVE the Walton House in Homestead, Florida.
And watch this “highlight” video we did of Alicia & Felix’s recent wedding at the Walton House:
Let me explain why as a wedding photographers we love the historical Walton House in Homestead, Florida.
From the minute you get on to the grounds, you realize it is something totally unique. I’ve never seen anything like it in South Florida
It’s a historic plantation. It was originally an avocado plantation–
the buildings, the grounds is all old, and thats unique for Florid.a
Right when you get in the getting ready area in the old house its fantastic for
the bride.
And then you start to notice how many animals they have onsite. There are cages and wild and loose animals, birds, flamingos, parrots, monkeys, sloths and there is even a horse and we had the bride posing with the horse.
When you move on from there you go to the ceremony area, which is in a beautiful shaded ceremony area with palm trees. And then when you do the couple photos it is a wedding photographer’s dream.
Every where you look is a cool background interesting vegetation, flora,
and and the animals as well, there is a duck pond as well.
So we’ve got great couple photos at this wedding.
Then you move to the reception. The reception in in this historic renovated barn.
They called it the barn, but its all brand new. It has air conditioning, tall ceilings, exposed wood beams.
It makes for just amazing photography as you will see in the photos as well.
These are just some reasons why we love the Walton House as wedding photographers.
